Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?
No. Ceramic coatings do not make your paint scratch-proof. They help reduce the risk of very light wash marks and provide excellent chemical and UV protection, but they won't prevent stone chips or deep scratches.
Does my car need machine polishing before ceramic coating?
Yes. Any swirl marks, contaminants and oxydation will be locked in beneath the coating, so I recommend at least an Enhancement Detail beforehand to achieve the best possible finish.
Can you apply ceramic coating at my home or workplace?
Yes! As a mobile detailing service, I can apply ceramic coatings at your home or workplace, provided there is enough space and access to a standard electricity supply. The vehicle must also remain dry during the preparation, application and while the coating cures.
How long does ceramic coating take?
Most ceramic coating appointments take around one day, depending on your vehicle's size, condition, and the level of paint preparation required. I'll confirm the expected timescale after visual inspection.
Do I need to provide water or electricity?
I bring my own water, so you only need to provide access to a standard electricity socket.
How should I maintain a ceramic-coated vehicle?
